May 17 TAHITI NUI VA'A 2007SHELL VA'A MAGISTRAL VAINQUEUR
Après sa déconfiture face au TEAM OPT lors de la RFO Tahiti Va'a, c'est la grande revanche. 3 étapes et 2 records à la clé, explosé de surcroit. Derrière ces 2 ogres du va'a, pointe une petit club venu de nulle part, MANAHE'E, avec son Président/Coach AH MIN Wilfred et ces rameurs pour la plus part inconnu. 3 étapes et 3 fois 3è. Pour le monde du va'a et la presse Manahe'e est la révélation de cette 6è Edition de Tahiti Nui Va'a.
Notre petit club de PAPEETE VA'A, entrainé par Mike TEURU, composé de très jeunes rameurs (4 juniors de 18 ans) à pour sa part donné beaucoup de torticolis à certains grands et termine à la 14è place (16è - 10è - 13è).

After the crash against TEAM OPT during the RFO Tahiti Va'a race, big revenge. 3 wining stages in addition 2 records exploded. Just behind those 2 orgres of the va'a, a small club came from no where and have pointed the bow of its va'a, MANAHE'E, with its President/Coach AH MIN Wilfred and their paddlers for most of them unknown. For any one here and most of the press people, Manahe'e is the revelation of this 6th Edition of Tahiti Nui Va'a.
Our small club of PAPEETE VA'A, coach by Mike TEURU, composed by very young paddlers (4 juniors 18 years) have given lot of crick in the neck to couple top crews to finish 14th (16th - 10th - 13th). |
